My Windows Phone Apps

Here are the apps I have developed so far for Windows Phone:

Windows Phone Store: PassGen

PassGen

Simply shake your phone to generate passwords in any of the following formats: PIN (numbers), Alphanumeric (letters and numbers), and Strong (letters, numbers, and symbols). Use the slider to vary password length from a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 16.

Copy to clipboard functionality is provided through the app bar. Random tips on protecting your password is displayed in the about page.

Windows Phone Store: Storm Tracer

Storm Tracer

This application gets the latest satellite feed from PAGASA. It also gets tweets from PAGASA’s official Twitter account, @dost_pagasa as well as MMDA (@mmda), Philippine Red Cross (@philredcross), and DepEd (@deped_ph).

A list of emergency numbers is also included. These numbers can be called or sent a message by clicking on the corresponding icons.

Windows Phone Store: Petals Around the Rose

Petals Around the Rose

Petals Around the Rose (PAtR) is a lateral thinking game played with five dice. There are three rules:

1. The name of the game is “Petals Around the Rose”, and the name of the game is the key to the game.

2. The answer is always zero or an even number.

3. Anyone who knows the game may give the answer to any roll, but they must not disclose the reasoning.

Windows Phone Store: maypasokba

maypasokba

Some content of this app is in Filipino.

Test them out, they just might know how to Becky Speak.

Filipino description:

Can’t think of a possible lotto combination? Let’s Play… Lotto is for you! You can generate random combinations for different Philippine lottery draws like 6/55, 6/49, 6/45, 6/42, and many more. You are also reminded when the next draw date is after generating a lotto combination.

Live tiles also change to reflect upcoming draw(s). Since most lottery draws are done at 9:00 PM, the draw for the following day is displayed when the clock strikes 9.

Upcoming features:
-Live tiles will cycle instead of flipping (when 7.8 update is published).
-List of PCSO offices for claiming of prizes.
-Results will be integrated in the app instead of redirecting to official PCSO website.

Windows Phone Store: Psychic Squares

Psychic Squares

Think of any number from 0-99. Psychic Squares will attempt to guess what you are thinking by showing sets of numbers. Simply tap yes if you see your number. Otherwise, tap no.

Impress your friends with these app by using it to guess their ages. Be careful though, these Psychic Squares will know if you or your friends are cheating.

Windows Phone Store: Philippine Constitution

Philippine Constitution

This is the 1987 Constitution of the Philippines in its entirety. You could pin articles or section to your Start screen for easy reference.

Windows Phone Store: Aerocache of the Day

Aerocache of the Day

Do you love Microsoft Flight? This app shows you every Aerocache found in the game including details such as name, difficulty, XP, region, and hint. You can pin the Aerocache to the Start screen for bookmarking. It is also integrated with Bing search, and you can share it to your friends through the Me tile.

Upcoming feature:
-Live tile will update everyday to show the Aerocache of the Day. Currently, it seems that it can not run in the background as it takes time to load the Microsoft Flight page. (If you are a developer, I am actually using HTML Agility Pack to scrape data. Any advice will be appreciated.)

Disclaimer: This app is not an official app and is not affiliated, endorsed or licensed by Microsoft, whose Microsoft Flight’s copyright and trademark belong to. This guide is intended for players to help in locating aerocaches.

Visit the Windows Phone Store and download them today.

I like the Philippine Constitution app. Quite useful. Can you add features like copying certain texts, searching for words or phrases, and sharing a section via FB or Twitter? Thanks!

    • Hi Sir Rhomel, Cesar here from the Philippine Nokia Developers group. Thank you for the feedback. I actually just published an update recently where you can now share via email. I will look for ways on how to copy portions as well as search functionality.
