Coming Soon: Windows Phone 8

Posted on November 8, 2012

Windows Phone 8 has just been released last week, and has started to be sold in different parts of the world.  Before, it took a lot of months before they started to arrive in the Philippines.  I am glad to share that Windows Phone 8 will be sold in the Philippines really, really soon (time to write Santa Claus your letters).  Not only that, but we will get to see all the new Windows Phone 8 devices from Nokia, HTC, and Samsung.  Unfortunately, I can not disclose the exact dates or prizes, but I will be posting them as soon as we have the go signal.

In other related news, the Nokia Lumia 510 will also be introduced to the Philippines.  It will have a 4″ WVGA TFT display running on an 800 MHz processor with 256 MB RAM and 4 GB storage, and has a 5MP camera, while the battery is rated 1300 mAh.  It will be running Windows Phone 7.5, and will come in red, yellow, cyan, white and black.

Want to see a Windows Phone 8 in person?  Catch the Windows booths in this November in Davao (9-11), SM MOA (16-18), SM Megamall (23-25), and Cebu (November 30 to December 1).  The Microsoft Student Partners will also visit different schools throughout the year, so visit and like Microsoft Philippines Academic Team to get updates on the latest events and offerings for students.
