The Nokia Lumia 920 has a 4.5″ WXGA display with 1.5 GHz dual core processor, 1 GB RAM, and 32 GB storage.  With PureMotion HD+, it allows a faster and brighter display, making transitions smoother.  Its display is super-sensitive, that it even works even when you are wearing gloves or using your fingernails.  You could even use your car keys as it won’t scratch the Gorilla display.  It packs a 2000 mAh battery and has built-in wireless charging using Qi.  You charge your phones using different accessories, or through pods placed in public places.  The main feature of the Lumia 920 is  the camera.  It has a 8.7 MP sensor that uses PureView, allowing you to take pictures comparable to those taken with an SLR camera.  The Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) is handy for those with shaky hands as it reduces the possible blur not only for photos but for videos as well.  Videos can be shot up to 1080p resolution.  As for colors, it will come in red, yellow, white, grey, and black.

The Nokia Lumia 820 uses a 4.3″ WVGA display with 1.5 GHz dual core processor, 1 GB RAM, and 8 GB storage, which can be expanded using a microSD.  Like the Nokia Lumia 920, it also has a Super Sensitive display.  It has a 1650 mAh battery, with support for wireless charging through accessories.  The 8 MP camera uses Carl Zeiss lens, which can shoot up to 1080p videos.  Color choices are red, yellow, white, grey, black, purple and cyan.  What’s nice is you can change covers, and through these covers, add wireless charging capabilities as well.

Some of the new features of Windows Phone 8 were shown.  Internet Explorer 10 provides a faster and better browsing experience.  The address bar button can now be changed to show favorites, refresh the page, or create a new tab.  The camera now uses pinching to zoom, and has Lenses to allow 3rd party apps provide a better camera experience.  You can now do screenshots in Windows Phone 8 by pressing the Start and Power buttons.  Here is the first screenshot of Windows Phone 8 show to everyone.

Joe Belfiore's Windows Phone 8 screenshotOne of the reasons why we love Nokia is that they continuously add new apps for the Nokia collection.  The Nokia Location suite (Drive, Maps, Transport, City Lens) gets better and better.  Nokia Maps, which will be available to all Windows Phone 8 devices, will allow offline support and provide indoor maps through indoor positioning system (IPS).  Nokia Transport will remember previous searches and integrate Nokia Maps.  Nokia City Lens will show better results and allow pinning of categories to the Start screen.

Another Nokia Lumia exclusive is Angry Birds Roost.  Nokia partnered with Rovio to create an app that will show stuff from the Angry Birds universe.

Nokia introduced two Lenses: the Smart Shoot, which takes pictures in burst mode and lets user remove unwanted portions of the photo, and Cinemagraph, where users can create animated GIFs using videos.  The good news is Nokia will also provide these apps for existing Nokia Lumia users.

Nokia Music also debuts in the United States, where Lumia 900 and Lumia 710 users can now stream music with Mix Radio.  No registration or subscriptions are needed, and it is completely free from advertisements.

Speaking of music, new accessories were also introduced.  The JBL PowerUp Wireless Charging Speaker plays your phone music through Bluetooth or NFC.  It also has a charging pod so you can just place your phone on top of it, and it will start wireless charging.  Other accessories include the Nokia accessories: Nokia Purity Pro Stereo Headset by Monster, Nokia Wireless Charging Plate DT-900, Fatboy Rechargeable Pillow DT-901, and JBL PlayUp Portable Wireless Speaker for Nokia.  Not in picture are the Nokia Luna Bluetooth Headset with Wireless Charging and Nokia Wireless Charging Stand DT-910.
