Windows Live Movie Maker 2011

Posted on March 9, 2011

I never enjoyed creating video presentations.  Aside from not being my forte, I find it very tedious as well.  With Windows Live Movie Maker 2011, creating videos is much, much easier.

Windows Live Movie Maker is a video creator/editor.  You can combine videos, pictures, and music to turn it into a movie.  Add effects, transitions, and captions to polish it then publish it online easily.

When you open Windows Live Movie Maker, it will ask you to import videos and/or pictures.

There are AutoMovie themes you can select from where everything is preset already: transitions, effects, and captions.  Even the credits screen is already made for you!

Of course you can choose to add your own animations like transitions and how the elements pan and zoom.

You can also add effects.  Below, I was able to transform a video from colored to sepia:

You can also add captions and music.  This just shows how easy it is to make video presentations even if you only have pictures.

When your done, upload it easily to your SkyDrive, Facebook, Youtube, or Flickr account.

Windows Live Movie Maker is part of Windows Live Essentials.  You can get it for free here.
